Presentation and discussion format on a variety of topics such as the substance
of Anglicanism, an intergenerational Advent series on simplifying Christmas,
the Year of Jubilee, and much more. |

Room
Sundays, 10:00AM– 11:15AM
Worship activities for children aged 3-7. Children begin in the sanctuary
with their parents. They are led out of the service during the Prayer Room
Processional, just after the Collect of the Day. They return to the service
to participate in the Communion of the People. |

Groups
St. Mary of Bethany, Tuesdays, 10:00AM — Parishioners praying for
the healing of members and friends of our community. |
Church
School
Sundays, September to June, 11:30AM-12:15PM
Bible stories, singing and crafts for children preschool-aged to 9. In addition,
we offer Introduction to the Holy Eucharist classes at special times during
the year and children in this age group may participate in a Hand Chime
Choir or Children’s Choir. |
Children's
Summer Music and Arts Camp
Last week in June, Week long camp for children to learn songs about
God and do fantastic art projects.

Journey
to Adulthood
Sundays, September to June
A comprehensive program of spiritual formation for young people that seeks
to accompany youth aged 10 to 18 on their journey into relationship with
God, each other and the world. It is based on two key concepts: that manhood
and womanhood are gifts from God, and that adulthood must be earned. Adult
“guides” work with three different age groups which each explore
themes such as responsibility, trust, self, spirituality, society and their
evolving place in the church.
Rite 13 — ages 10-13, meets Sunday mornings, 11:30AM-12:15PM
J2A — ages 14-15, meets Sunday mornings,
11:15AM –12:45PM
Young Adults in Church (J2A2)— ages 16-18, meets
monthly.
It is through a variety of groups at Christ Church that we strive to demonstrate
our desire to be a caring community. By working together to serve the church
and our community in these areas, you can experience the joy of fellowship
and the bonds of Christian love. |

Necessarily Religious” Book Discussion Group (Book

Monthly, 7:00PM-9:00PM
This group meets monthly to discuss selected readings to facilitate growth
in faith and fellowship with others. |

Altar
Guild
A group of people who take turns preparing the altars and chancels of the
church and chapel for worship each week. |
Communications
Coordinates all communications for Christ Church to support and help achieve
our mission. From Sunday bulletins to our monthly newsletter The Courier,
we strive to effectively communicate with church members and the community.

St.
Martha’s Guild
Meets the second Tuesday of each month at the lunch hour and offers a variety
of speakers and studies. Members bring their own lunch; dessert and beverages
are provided.

Formation
Seeks to create a community of individuals who know the Holy Scriptures,
are aware of God’s presence in their lives, and who consistently live
out their faith and tradition. |
Memorial
Fund Committee
Functions as an advisory service to the Vestry by proposing specific use
of memorial gifts given to the church.

Evangelism
& New Member Ministry
Focused on developing ways to effectively share and spread the Good News
of the Gospel and to welcome and help assimilate new members into our community.

Committee
As stewards of Christ Church’s financial resources, this committee
manages current revenue and expenses and projects for future needs so that
the church may fulfill its mission of ministry |
Murray
Stover Library
Named after its longtime librarian, Murray Stover, our library holds hundreds
of books and periodicals that promote spiritual growth for children and
adults. |
Parish
Events
Serves as a means by which parishioners can experience fellowship, evangelism,
pastoral care, service and stewardship |
Chapel
Day Preschool
Christ Church provides the facilities and board members for this fully licensed,
professional learning environment for 3- and 4-year-olds. |
Pastoral
Care
Intentional and on-going outreach to people with physical, emotional or
spiritual needs.

Lay
Eucharist Visitors—LEVs
Complementing clergy visits, LEVs bring the Eucharist on the Lord’s
feast days to homebound or ill members of the parish who cannot attend Sunday
services. |
Property
Oversees the repair and maintenance of the buildings, grounds, facilities
and furnishings of the church and to coordinate use of the building and
grounds |
Memorial
Garden Commission
Oversees the services of our burial grounds where the ashes of family and
friends of Christ Church are interred. The Lay Weeders Guild maintains the
garden during the growing season each year. |
Outreach
Focused on using the resources of Christ Church to do God’s work by
giving all members the opportunity to serve together in helping those in
need |
Quilting
Bees
Women of the church meeting weekly to sew quilts, some of which are auctioned
to benefit the church. |
Stewardship
Seeks to help all parishioners grow in their understanding of faithful stewardship
through year-round educational programs and activities and oversees and
directs the annual pledge campaign. |
Greeters
and Shepherds
Parishioners who take turns greeting visitors to our services and extending
the congregation’s appreciation for their interest in Christ Church
with a brief home visit. |
Worship
Acts as counsel of advice to the Rector, who is canonically in full charge
of corporate worship; as sounding board for new ideas and source of feedback
about current practices; as coordinator of the involvement of all parish
groups in corporate worship; and as assistant in planning, executing and
evaluating the worship of Christ Church. |
