The Night of January 16th is a courtroom murder mystery, and the first show produced by DHCT, back in 1993. The plot concerned whether or not a secretary had murdered her employer on January 16th. The show used a jury made up of members of the audience, who had no idea they were going to be picked. The ending of the show depended on the jury's verdict so it changed from performance to performance!

I played Jane Chandler, the handwriting expert. I am being sworn in to give testimony on whether or not it was someone's (I forget who!) handwriting or not.	On break before the show; it was performed at the Dearborn Heights District Courtroom, rather than on a theater stage.
More frivolity to lighten the mood during rehearsal. See his clown nose?	My Mom stood in during rehearsal and read all the lines for the judge. The actual DH judge, Leo Foran played the role for the performances.
