Comp Sci Tutoring

Hi!  My name is Dennis Matveyev and I'd like to help you with learning Computer Science.  I am no stranger to the subject and I know that time pressures and deadlines of a college career can be tough.  I also know that learning a language like C++ or Java can be difficult.  I want to help.  So, if you have a program, a test, or an assignment that is taking too much of your time or is extra difficult, don't hesitate to contact me and ask me what I can do for you. Experience:

• BS, MS degrees in Computer Science from UofM-Dearborn
• Taught CIS 150 and 200 labs and CIS 296 Java Programming course at UMD
• Organized and lead programming contests at UofM-Dearborn
• I am an ACM/UPE/DCE member and UMD alumni.
• I coached Dearborn and Ann Arbor teams for regional programming contests
• I coached and lead Ann Arbor's top teams to participate in Programming Contest World Finals.

I also actively participate in ACM ICPC contest happenings in many different roles.  Here are some newspaper articles mentioning my contest-related activities:
