Wondering what constitutes plagiarism? This Purdue University website is an excellent resource.
This course in physical science for teachers will use a curriculum, Physics for Everyday Thinking, that has been developed by a team based at San Diego State University and is being taught at about 30 universities around the country this year.

The PET curriculum integrates learning science content with exploring the nature of science, elementary students' ideas, and learning about your own learning.

The science content is centered on interactions and energy. We will explore motion, energy, forces, magnets, electric circuits, and light.

The aspects of the nature of science that will be explored include the role of models and myths and realities regarding the "scientific method."

By viewing elementary students doing activities very similar to the ones you will be doing you will gain increased understanding how both elementary and college students learn.

More information is available on the PET Website and in the syllabus.

This page will be used for announcements and other specific information about the class.
