Born on a cold November morning, Krystal became the second of three children born to Scott and Colleen Caldwell. Her older sister, Christine, who is only thirteen months older to the day, is a student at Eastern Michigan University and her younger brother, Kevin, graduated high school last June.
As a junior at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, Krystal is studying to become a journalist. Upon graduating college, she would love to write for Cosmopolitan magazine and move to New York. She became fascinated with NYC after a school trip there in 2001.
A TV junkie, Krystal’s favorite shows include Gilmore Girls, Judging Amy, Las Vegas, All My Children, One Life To Live, General Hospital, Passions, Trading Spaces, While You Were Out, anything on the Food Network, Desperate Housewives, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, What Not To Wear, and The Nanny.
In her CD player right now is the new Kelly Clarkson CD titled Breakaway, but Krystal’s other favorite artists/bands include: Linkin Park, Hawthorn Heights, Gaelic Storm, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Jacob Young, Norah Jones, Christina Aguilera, Blink 182, Metallica, and EightySixDrama just to name a few.
Currently,
Krystal has four dogs. Three German Shepards named Shiloh, Brandy and Malibu
and one Pekingese, named Snickers, that formerly belonged to her sister. Her
beloved Dalmatian, Samantha, died last September.
