About the Wireless Laboratory

The Wireless Laboratory (located in 212 CIS) was established
through a grant from the Institute for Advanced Vehicle
Systems (IAVS), College of Engineering and Computer Science,
University of Michigan-Dearborn.  The laboratory conducts
research into various ways of using wireless technology in
automotive applications.

Current Project

The primary project of the laboratory at the present time
involves the use of wireless signals to replace signal
wires (more specifically, wiring harnesses) in automobiles.
