March 1, 1997

The first month, I covered the basics of Delphi, such as what is Delphi and why use Delphi instead of some other tool, such as Visual Basic. I also gave a list of links to some important Delphi resources on the web.

 

April 1, 1997

This month, I have introduced a new section: Articles. The first article is one I wrote on Delphi 2 AnsiString. There is a lot more to know about this string type than you may realize. Take a good look at the new, do-all-be-all string type.

In the future, I will add more complete coverage. I will add info on the latest Delphi developments, such as Delphi 97. I would also like to include reviews of some 3rd party custom components and Delphi add-in development utilities (debuggers, profilers, etc.). I'd also like to add some tips & tricks and undocumented secrets.
