Ash Cave

Ash Cave is a gigantic cave-like recess in the cliff. The trail to the cave is a narrow 1/4 mile long gorge. The gorge ends abruptly, opening up to a large clearing. The cave is a horseshoe shape area, recessed 100 feet deep into the 90 foot high cliff. The cave measures 700 feet from end to end. A small creek cascades over the cliff, and plunges into a small pool in the middle of the clearing.
