This was a wonderful place to visit. The park spans about 20 miles of the Lake Superior shoreline. The entire length of the park is decorated in colorful, rocky cliffs with a variety of rock formations. You can drive along a rough little dirt road that trails the shore about a mile inland, but there are roads where you can drive up to the shore every couple of miles. For the more adventurous, a hiking trail along the entire length of the park. Some of the sites (such as the lighthouse) can only be seen from the trail. Another option (which I did not get to do) is to pay for a boat tour of the entire park. I hear it's quite a sight seeing the park from that angle.
