A Photographic Tour of
America's Beautiful Sights

Discovering America started out as a photographic summery of my 1996 vacation to Western America. I then decided to expand it to include a vacation I took to Hocking Hills in Ohio in 1995. Since then, the site has mostly sat dormant. I've taken a few vacations since then, but never got around to adding them. However, that is now fixed, as I have included two more vacations I took in 1998 and 2001. In summary, the following vacations are now covered:

•  July/August 1996 - Western America
  This is the vacation that started the sight. Visited tons of great sights on a road trip from Detroit to Seattle to Denver and back to Detroit.
• 1995 - Hocking Hills in 1995
  The second addition. Some very beautiful locations hidden in the hills of Ohio.
• August 1998 - Western America Revisited
  We redid the trip from Detroit to Seattle and back (leaving out Denver this time), but took a new path to uncover some fresh sights.
• March 2001 - Winter Honeymoon in Niagara Falls
  We got married in the slow time of the year, and used the bad weather to our advantage to take a relatively inexpensive visit to Niagara Falls.
