The authors have extensive backgrounds in molecular biology and computer programming, as well as training undergraduaes in lecture and laboratory techniques.
MBP is a Professor of Biochemistry, and has extensive experience in teaching molecular biology and biochemistry lecture and laboratory techniques, is actively involved in national Biochemical Education Programs and has a reputation for excellent student research training.
SMR is a biochemist/software engineer, and has extensive experience in programming, software design, web design, and multimedia production. He serves as a "content expert" who understands both the science and computer program design.
