About Me

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS) at University of Michigan-Dearborn. I work in the broad area of Data Management. Currently my research focuses on extending database systems with the ability to operate on probability distributions, instead of regular data.
I graduated from SUNY Buffalo, under the supervision of Prof. Jan Chomicki and Prof. Oliver Kennedy. Before joining UofM, I used to work at Vertica.

UM-Dearborn is now offering a Rackham PhD program in Computer Science.
If you are interested in working with me, please email me your résumé, transcripts and published research papers.
