Bear Den # 1 2008-2009 Meeting Schedule

**The following schedule completes Bear Achievements (3, 5, 6), (8, 11), (14, 15, 16, 23) as a den.

Families need to complete two more Achievements on their own: (1 or 2), and (9, 10, 12, or 13) by February.

 

 

Sept. 18 (picnic)

Ach #15 Games

a – play two games (ladder ball & washer toss)

b – play two organized games with den (tug of war & kick the can)

 

Tuesday Oct. 14  @ Crosswinds Marsh (Wayne County Parks), 4:30-6:30 pm, $3/scout

       Ach. #5: Sharing Your World w/ Wildlife

 

Sunday Nov. 2, 2- 4 pm, @ Allen School playground

    Ach. # 14 – Ride Right  (bring your bikes to school!)

         a – rules for bike safety

         b – winding course

         c- identify parts of bike

         e – bike hike

    Ach. #6g – clean- up project, Allen School grounds

 

Tues. Nov. 11, 6:30-7:30 pm, Allen School Art Room

Ach. # 6a – bring newspapers for recycling

Ach  # 6c – find out about trash

Ach #3 – America

a – tell what makes America special

  a – learn how to play 3 team sports

  b – learn how to play 2 two-person sports

  c – play 1 team and 1 individual sport
