Background
Professor A. Shaout received his B. S., M. S. and Ph. D. degrees in 1982, 1983, and 1987 from Syracuse University respectively. Since 1987, he has been with the University of Michigan - Dearborn, where he is currently a full professor and a Fulbright scholar in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. His current research interests are in the areas of applications of fuzzy set theory, software engineering, cloud computing, embedded systems, and intelligent Systems.
